Case Study 1 - Food Producer & Packer
Automation of refrigerated outpack area (2 deg.C) - Melbourne, Vic.

Although Molec  wasnt the lowest quote, our client chose Molec over its competition due to Molecs demonstration in the past of commitment to get the right job done in the right time.

Our client gave Molec a very "basic" verbal brief, specifications of conveyors and machinery and a general layout.  From this Molec delivered and commissioned a fully automated outpack plant including:
  • Design of the electrical control system and specification of equipment to control the positioning and location of product throughout the plant.
  • PLC, switchboard, touch-screen control interface, and interfacing with existing packing robots, wrapper and palletiser.
  • Supply of all electrical equipment and components.
  • Installation and wiring of all equipment.
  • Commissioning of the plant.

Case Study 2 - Major Logistics Operator
Refrigerated cool store, warehouse and distribution centre - Georgetown, TAS.

Our client couldnt find a local reliable Electrical Contractor that listened to and understood what their needsThe clients previous experience with Molec in a similar installation in Melbourne, prompted our client to contact Molec to carry out the Tasmanian plant installation.

Molec provided data, fibre optic and telephony communications system which gave the customer a greater control and flexibility.
